This rifle is richly engraved with fine scrollwork and a detailed hunting scene, complemented by a beautifully carved buttstock depicting a resting hunter tenderly petting his faithful dog—a striking and uncommon motif that immediately sets this piece apart. The 29 1/4" octagon barrel retains its attractive browned finish and features an excellent bore.
