Colt Mustang Stainless Semi-Auto Pistol in 380ACP
This is a Colt Mustang chambered in 380ACP in stainless steel. It has a 2 3/4" barrel is a single-action semi-automatic and a detachable 6 round magazine. It has fixed blade front sight and a notch-style dovetail rear sight. It has black checkered grips with Colt medallions. The markings on the pistol are "Colt MK IV / Series 89 Mustang 380 Auto with Rampant Colt logo and with the serial number on the frame on the left slide. On the right slide and frame marked with "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG CO. HARTFORD CT USA".
Condition:
This Colt Mustang is in fine condition overall. The bore is in excellent condition. The metal surfaces of this pistol rate about good plus to fine with scattered handling marks, and polish streaks on the sides of the slide. The "polished streaks show light red/orange in the photos because they reflect the light from the camera. In the hand they appear as polished stainless with no color. The legends are in fine shape with some fading in a few places. The checkered black synthetic grips with silver rampant colt medallions rate good plus with scattered handling marks on the edges. The pistol retains standard open sights and a single six round magazine. This Colt Mustang come with one factory magazine. These Colt Mustangs are configured in the classic John Browning’s 1911 design. With its compact functionality perfect for the person who wants an easily concealable pistol for self-defense or those who like the 1911 style in a small package.
