Description:
The FN 509® Semi-Auto Pistol is a modified result of the Modular Handgun System (MHS) competition for the US military. All FN 509 pistols feature an enhanced grip texturing scheme, where parts of the grip are textured to be grittier where needed and smoother where excessive texture can become abrasive. The striker-fired, DAO trigger pull on the 509 Compact semi-automatic pistol is short and smooth, with a positive reset. Several safety features incorporated into the trigger prevent the pistol from firing unless the trigger is pulled all the way to the rear and the slide is all the way forward. The magazine release and slide release are easy to reach and fully ambidextrous. 9mm Parabellum
