Up for sale today I have a Winchester Pre 64 model 70 Super Grade rifle chambered in the very scarce 7x57 Mauser cartridge. This rifle was made in 1946 during the transition period and has the date 1946 stamped on the bottom of the barrel that is photographed. There were only 1470 7x57s made total production which was .25% of total production calibers according to Rules book. There probably weren't 100 of these ever made and I can't stress enough about how rare this gun is. It is 100% original right down to the original sight hood and it has NEVER been scoped. It even has the ORIGINAL reciever screws in the top of the receiver and have never been removed. There are some handling marks to the wood but nothing serious. No gouges, chips, cracks just honest handling/hunting marks. The bluing is 99%+ with the original floor plate, trigger guard and screws. I removed the barrel from the stock to photograph no cracks or glass bedding internally in the stock, it is 100% original. Remember this is a pre55 supergrade, so no stamping on the underside of the barrel and no jeweled bolt, this rifle is 100% factory correct.
