Model 94 12-gauge single shot shotgun, manufactured during the pre-WWI “Arms & Tool” era (prior to 1916). This period is known for rugged utility guns used heavily across the American West. This example features the classic external hammer, top-lever break open action, and original full choke hunting barrel. The receiver shows an untouched bronze toned patina consistent with age. Wood is original and shows honest frontier wear. What sets this shotgun apart is the deeply stamped “LINCOLN CO. NEW MEXICO” marking on the stock. Firearms issued to rural New Mexico counties are increasingly collectible due to their association with early law enforcement, ranching, and frontier use. Lincoln County remains historically significant as the region tied to Pat Garrett, Billy the Kid, and the lawmen who followed. Caliber: 12 Gauge Action: External Hammer, Top-Lever, Single Shot Barrel: Full Choke Stock Marking: "LINCOLN CO. NEW MEXICO" Condition: Antique, worn, functional appearance; sold as-is Price: $249.00 Item Location: Michigan |
