The DC9 was designed as a lightweight, high-capacity pistol that emphasized ruggedness and ease of use. During its production run (approximately 1990 to 1994), the DC9 gained attention for its distinctive profile, high magazine capacity for its size, and robust construction. It was marketed primarily to civilian shooters interested in a defensive pistol with significant ammunition capacity. Description This used Intratec TEC-DC9 is in very good overall condition, with well-maintained mechanical function and strong cosmetic appeal. The receiver features a black Parkerized finish for corrosion resistance and durability with an integral heat shield that is fitted around the barrel, and fixed sights are mounted on the receiver/heat shield for a reliable sight picture. The pistol is chambered in 9 mm Luger and is fed from detachable magazines, one 30-round magazine that provides high ammunition capacity is included. The 5″ threaded barrel offers versatility for accessories such as muzzle devices (where legal), and it exhibits a bright bore with good rifling, indicating solid internal condition.
