The proven Remington® Model 700® Bolt-Action Rifle has all the quality features needed for serious big game hunting. At the heart of the 700 Stainless is the famous Model 700 action that encloses the cartridge head in 3 rings of steel: the recessed bolt face, the chamber end of the barrel, and the front receiver ring. This design provides inherent strength while holding the cartridge in precise alignment with the bore for exceptional accuracy. This 700 comes with a straight comb Hogue overmolded stock. The 2-position safety at the rear of the action is quick to operate with the thumb and can also be gripped with the forefinger and thumb and moved extra quietly to the fire position.
