Winchester Model 70 Pre-64 Bolt Action Rifle chambered in .300 H&H Magnum. This rifle features a highly polished, deeply blued steel barrel and a raised cheekpiece, checkered walnut stock. It has a hooded ramp front sight and an adjustable rear sight. The action features a claw extractor. It has a base and 1-inch rings. The .300 H&H Magnum cartridge is belted like the .375 H&H Magnum and is based on the same case. It offers superior ballistics to the .30-06 for a long range. The .300 H&H is a fine African plains game cartridge, and suitable for all but the most dangerous big game. Manufactured in 1960. No box .300 H&H Magnum
