Description:
The Winchester 1892 is in effect a shrunk down version of the model 1886, its dual locking blocks make it especially strong and modern versions can handle even the most powerful handgun cartridges. This example is an octagon barreled saddle ring carbine made in 18927. Overall external condition is very good to excellent with only wear expected from its age, however it would appear that the bore wasn't oiled before storage, causing areas of pitting throughout.
