Description:
Lefever Nitro Special 20 gauge, made in 1923. Has 28 inch barrels with IC/Light Mod chokes, brass bead front sight,double triggers. This model has extractors only, no ejectors. Length of pull to back trigger is 13-3/4 inches. Has a Ranger red recoil pad. Has been test fired and functions well. Bores are clean. Buttstock is rated good, showing two minor cracks at wrist. Upon inspection, the cracks do not appear to go through all the way and are stable. Forearm is good showing no cracks or repairs. Checkering overall is well worn and smooth. Has handling marks (see pictures). Metal condition is good, being mostly patina overall. The end of barrels showing blue missing from exposure to ?? Barrels ring true and rib is solid and no separation. This is a shooter, not collector. Would be good for Cowboy Action Shooting.
