LOCK DATED 1847, BARREL HAS VP EAGLE MARK WITH 1848 DATE ON THE TANG. WALNUT STOCK RATES ABOUT VERY GOOD WITH OLD SHALLOW CHIPS AND SOLID REPAIRED CRACKS AROUND THE LOCKPLATE AND FORWARD OF FRONT LOCK SCREW. RAMROD CHANNEL IS CHIP FREE WITH ORIGINAL RAMROD IN PLACE.
