Description:
General Specs: Webley & Scott, c1915, .455, 35.4oz, 4 1/2"
Serial Number:  157225

Vintage Firearms is pleased to offer this unique British revolver; the Webley revolver was adopted as the British service revolver in 1887 and served that role until 1963. The Mk VI was adopted in 1915 and served with distinction throughout The Great War. The Webley Revolvers earned the moniker of the “Webley Self-Extracting Revolver” for its top break action which ejects spent casings, thus quickening reloads. This example, serial number 157225, produced circa 1915, has been professionally restored, and retains 99% finish, and sports a shiny mirror bore with strong rifling. The frame, barrel and cylinder all have matching serial numbers, and military broad arrows signifying government ownership, with the gun well covered in acceptance stamps – as is the British fashion! This Mk VI comes with a 1953 British Canvas holster to keep your revolver right where you want it! A great choice for militaria collectors or those who just like unique revolvers. Vintage Firearms provides the most thorough photos, description, and specifications in the industry, providing you all the information you need to make a wise purchase. Don’t hesitate to make the call and put this gun in your collection. The specifications are shown below. Thanks for looking!
