Personal/Business checks with a few extra days for “collected funds” Description: Ithaca 7E, 12 gauge SxS shotgun made in 1929. Magnificent 7E engraving on the receiver. The left side has to flying yellow gold inlayed ducks surrounded by "heavy" oak leaves. The right side is similar to the left, but with two yellow gold inlayed pheasants. The bottom of the receiver has the iconic yellow and white gold inlayed American Bald Eagle. The trigger guard is embellished with a yellow gold inlayed Elk bust. 30" vent rib barrels. Both bores are .730" diameter. Right barrel has .025" Improved modified and the left barrel has .040" choke constriction making it Extra Full. 2 3/4" chambers. (Note at the start of the choke in the left tube there is a very hard to see "ring" that in no way would affect the shooting or proof of the barrels!) The very highly figured Walnut buttstock is a replacement with carved checkering in a 7E pattern. The length of pull 15" over the plastic buttplate. There is 1 7/16" drop at the comb and at the Monte Carlo. 1 3/4" drop at the heel with 1/4" cast favoring a right hand shooter. The overall weight is 8 lbs. 4 oz. This gun is just 3 years short of being 100 years old. The metal finishes are all really quite very good! Serial number is 457518 Pricing note: Priced at $38,500 with is signifcantly lower than its peers because of the replaced buttstock (even though it is spectacular) and because of the very small "snafu" in the left bore near the muzzle!!
