Description:
26 inch half octagon barrel chambered in 25-35 WCF caliber with a very good bore that has sharp rifling. Sights include a Lyman blade front with flat top sporting rear and a folding tang. Barrel retains most thinning blue with a special order half length magazine tube and take down style frame. Barrel is also is fitted for a silencer with a threaded muzzle which has a cap on it. Receiver has about 50% thinning blue with edge wear to the high points and the balance turning a gray patina. Good traces of case color on the hammer and lever and some nitre blue on the loading gate. Crisp functioning action. Deluxe walnut stocks are in excellent condition with very light wear to the checkering with most of the stock original varnish still in remaining complete with a rifle style buttplate. Complete with a research that verifies the configuration as well as the 1902 manufacture date. This is a scarce straight stock deluxe configuration that you rarely see as well as one that is fitted for a silencer. Just a good honest looking deluxe Winchester.
