We've a rather uncommon model 1936 Marlin carbine in the 1st model (says 1936 on the tang) and a 4 digit serial number 5xxx. Retains most of the factory blue on the barrel and magazine tube and quite an amount of case color on the receiver and lever. Solid wood that may have finish added but a long time ago. Factory sights and bright and shiny bore, shoots and functions very well and a gun about 89 years old- maybe 90. Need C&R or FFL and certified funds for immediate shipment, while business and personal checks wait a week to clear before shipping- sorry no credit cards anymore.
