Colt Diamondback .38 Special – 4\" Barrel (Late 1960s / Early 1970s Production)
Offered is a Colt Diamondback chambered in .38 Special with a 4-inch barrel, dating to the late 1960s to early 1970s. This revolver presents as an honest, unmolested example that shows significant finish wear consistent with long-term use. The original finish is largely worn, and the Colt logo has been worn off from handling. The ejector rod shroud thimble is missing.
Mechanically, this Diamondback remains in good order. Lockup is tight, timing is correct, and the action functions properly. It is a solid shooter and maintains the mechanical integrity collectors look for when evaluating a candidate for restoration.
