This 03-A3 dates to 1942 by the S/N, and the barrel is marked "S A 11-42" The stock appears to be a replacement as there are no detectable cartouches, and the OEM sights were replaced by Lymon globe and peep, presumably for accuracy in competition. .30-06 Springfield
