Description:
This is a very good condition, Colt made, Iron, two cavity bullet mold for the .36 caliber Colt 1851 Navy revolver. It casts one round ball and one elongated bullet. Sprue cutter is attached to the top and is marked "COLT'S / PATENT". Cavities remain mostly clean with light oxidation on bottom. There is light oxidation on the sprue cutter with numerous small dings on exterior where the mold needed to be "tapped" to get the bullets out. Right side stamped "36B".;
