For sale is a beautiful Mauser bolt action rifle in .280 Remington that has been custom engraved, gold inlay engraving, octagon barrel, and beautiful exhibition stock made and checkered by Roger Decker of the American Custom Gunmaker Guild. This was one of his personal rifles and it has "RLD" gold engraved in the trigger guard.
Engraver was R Hughes and is engraved on the bottom of the trigger guard.
I am no expert on Mauser rifles. Rifle has stamped on it:
"Mauser Modelo Argentino 1909"
"Deutsche Waffen - Und Munitions Fabriken Berlin"
Serial stamped = F2427
Mounted with a Leupold Vari-X II 2x7 scope.
