A H FOX, PHIL., STERLINGWORTH 20 GAUGE, 26" STERLINGWORTH FLUID COMPRESSED STEEL NUMBER 4 WEIGHT BARRELS. IMP. MODIFIED (.020) AND FULL (.035), 2 1/2" CHAMBERS, SINGLE BEAD SIGHT, VERY GOOD BLUE, MIRROR BRIGHT BORES.
BOXLOCK FRAME WITH SOME ORIGINAL CASE COLOR, EXCELLENT SCREWS, TOP LEVER SLIGHTLY TO THE RIGHT, TIGHT ON FACE.
PISTOL GRIP STOCK, SPLINTER FOREARM, EXCELLENT CHECKERING AND WOOD FINISH. ORIGINAL GRIP CAP AND BUTTPLATE, 1 1/2" X 2 7/8" X 14 1/8", 5 POUNDS 10 OUNCES. LIGHT CORROSION ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE BARREL ABOVE THE FOREARM WOOD, REFINISHING THE BARRELS WOULD ELIMINATE IT. IT'S HARD TO FIND A FOX 20 GAUGE UNDER 5 3/4 POUNDS. MADE IN 1919. GREAT LITTLE DOUBLE TO CARRY ALL DAY.
