Moore’s Patent Firearms Co SA belt revolver 32 cal Rimfire, Bore Exc, Mfg’d 1861-1863 ( 7 shooter Revolver ) 7 shot cylinder . Original wood grips near Exc with some original varnish and excellent fit to metal. Has a 4” oct barrel with one line Moore’s patent date markings 1860. The receiver is brass and engraved including the backstrap and triggerguard. Serial#403 The book says several thousand were made. Popular Civil War Side arm. Jessie James carried one as a backup gun. Metal overall has a aged patina finish with no pitting. Excellent Pistol
