Description:
Manufactured in the 1920s, the Menz Liliput is one of the smallest semi-automatic pistols ever manufactured. Fixed sights, with "LILIPUT" KAL. 6,35/Model 1 on the left side of the slide, "crown/N"proof marks, and checkered grips with "6,35" medallions. Excellent, with 97% of the original blue finish, showing some mild edge wear, and mild handling marks. The grips are also excellent, with a few minor dings on the crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. These were highly prized by the German High Command due to their concealability. They are a rare addition for the WWI – WWII handgun collectors and seldom encountered especially in this minty condition. One of these in comparable condition sold on the Rock Island Site lot 444, September 6th 2019 for $2875.00! So, they are squarely in the cross hairs of collectors.
