The Mossberg SA-28 Turkey is a lightweight, gas-operated 28 gauge semi-automatic shotgun built on Mossbergs SA Series platform and configured for turkey hunting. It uses a 22-inch vent rib barrel with a 2.75-inch chamber and includes an extended turkey choke tube. The shotgun wears a synthetic stock and forend in Mossy Oak Greenleaf camouflage, and the stock provides a fixed 12.75-inch length of pull. Fiber optic ghost ring sights, a drilled and tapped receiver with top Picatinny rail, and a 4+1 capacity round out this compact, approximately 5.4-pound sub-gauge autoloader.
