The German Sport Guns (GSG) 1911 in .22 LR is a rimfire pistol modeled after the classic Colt 1911 platform — but chambered for the economical and low-recoil .22 Long Rifle cartridge. It’s designed primarily for sport shooting, training, and recreational plinking, giving you the familiar 1911 ergonomics without the cost or recoil of a centerfire pistol. Comes with box and owners manual.

Ergonomics & Controls:
• Beavertail grip safety & ambidextrous thumb safety (much like a standard 1911)
• Extended trigger with adjustable over-travel
Training & Plinking: Very popular as a practice pistol because .22 LR ammo is cheap, has low recoil, and lets new shooters learn the 1911 layout safely.
Good for target work at typical rimfire pistol ranges (25–50 yds or so), helped by the longer sight radius of the 5" barrel.
