Description:
Nice woods runner's carbine that fairly defines the term "deer rifle." The Marlin Models30 and 336 along with the Winchester 94 have accounted for more deer than any other kind of rifle. They are short, light, and agile, ideally suited to the woods and swamps that deer like. This one has had the rear sight removed, and a peep installed on the tang. The wood is clean for the most part, but there are a couple light scratches, and one nasty scratch on the grip flat. This is the model with a cross-bolt safety. .30-30 Winchester
