"SN 48384. Made in 1862. 44 caliber with an 8" barrel. This is a very fine example with a dark brown Tabaco patina on the barrel and almost all of the case colors on the frame although dark. The grips are nice and sharp and have been refinished. There are small military inspectors marks throughout the various pieces. Accompanying this gun is a black leather period flap holster
