This is the earliest Model 1873 Springfield Trapdoor Ive had in 26 years. Serial number 6045, made in 1874, prime Indian wars range. The gun is in good overall condition, the blue mostly shifted to patina, breech block has some stains, action is crisp and tight, bore is shiny with strong sharp rifling, no rust or pitting visible. Complete with original ram rod and fully functional. No license needed to buy except NJ and NY residents.
