CZ Brno sidelock shotgun chambered in 12 gauge with a 28?inch barrel set. Manufactured in Czechoslovakia in 1986, this side?by?side configuration features double barrels and a two?round capacity. The gun is built on a sidelock action, a design known for its integral lockwork mounted to side plates rather than the receiver body. The barrels are fitted with fixed chokes marked Modified and Full, providing two distinct constriction profiles for pattern control. Traditional double triggers and a manual safety are typical of this model type, emphasizing mechanical simplicity and direct control.
The shotgun’s metalwork and stock are consistent with CZ Brno’s production from the mid?1980s, using a blued finish on the barrels and color?case or blued treatment on the receiver depending on production variant. The 28?inch barrels contribute to balanced handling, while the sidelock mechanism allows straightforward access to internal components for maintenance. Markings include manufacturer identification and serial number 1-0199xx-86, confirming its 1986 origin. The overall layout reflects a conventional European field gun design, with a straight or semi?pistol grip stock and double?bead sighting plane typical of Brno’s craftsmanship of that era.
Factory finish on both wood and metal, nice clean gun. LOP is 14.25" to the factory butt plate. Gun has hardly been shot at all.
