Description: *** CABIN FEVER SPECIAL - FREE SHIPPING *** Marlin Model 336RC (regular carbine), caliber 30-30 Winchester, 20" round barrel with full magazine and two barrel bands, Texan version (straight grip), with brass saddle ring (only available 1965 to 1970), walnut stocks, gold trigger, Marlin logo butt plate with white line spacer and trademark Bullseye in bottom of butt stock, ramped front sight (hood missing), open rear sight (not factory, Marbles replacement), blued finish, receiver factory drilled and tapped for peep sight and scope mount, serial number has AB prefix indication 1966 manufacture, made at a time when the post-64 Winchester Model 94 was less than desirable due to the many changes in parts and manufacturing. Barrel and hammer extension both have the desirable "JM" marking. CONDITION: Overall bluing 90% with typical edge/carry wear, some scratching on the front sight ramp and spotty surface flecking on the top of the barrel (not deep, may clean off). Stocks are sound with no splits or cracks, never sanded or refinished, still tight and proud, no damage to butt plate. Action is butter-smooth with a properly working half cock safety. Bore in the Microgroove barrel is super bright and shiny with sharp rifling, rated at a 9.75 of 10.
