Smith & Wesson 38/44 Heavy Dury 5" barrel .38 special built on the N frame. This SN dates this example to 1952. It features a 5" barrel and has the original grips. It has been carried a lot, and as such has bluing wear in the usual spots (around the muzzle, high points of the frame and cylinder) In very good mechanical condition. Cylinder opens and spins freely, and locks up tight. Bore is very good, making it a very accurate shooter.
