Description:
Serial #209141, 12 Gauge (2 3/4" chambers), 30 inch Damascus barrels with bright, excellent bores showing a repaired dent on the left tube about half way choked Improved cylinder and full. This is an Ithaca Flues model side by side shotgun manufactured in 1910 and equipped with factory ordered Damascus barrels which was an optional purchase available for this model as most were built with Krupp fluid steel. In excellent condition the barrels show very detailed Damascus pattern with the noted repair and one small dent with some carbon staining. The receiver shows perhaps 30-35% of the original vibrant case-colors. The checkered stock and forearm rate about excellent with only minor blemishes and contusions. The original Ithaca hard rubber butt pad is very fine with light wear and a slight chip on the upper left corner. It functions properly with barrels on face and a tight lock up with the lever resting just right of center. The LOP is 14" to the first trigger with drops of 2" and 3 1/4" at the comb and heel respectively. A beautiful Ithaca choked for upland that would be a pleasure to use with the right low pressure loads. FFL or C&R
