Description:

Offered here is an antique “TERROR” marked pocket revolver in the classic late 19th century European pocket pattern. This is a compact, solid frame, spur trigger revolver with a bird's head grip and an under barrel ejector/rod built for discreet carry and personal protection during the cartridge transition era.

From the photos, this revolver is a cartridge type design, with a small frame cylinder, fixed sights, and a simple single action style lockwork. It presents with an even, honest gray/brown patina and handling wear consistent with age. The grips appear original and intact, with no major cracks visible in the images.

These “named” pocket revolvers (including ‘TERROR’ marked examples) were commonly produced in Europe often in Belgium/Liège then sold through the British and export trade. They remain popular today as display pieces and collector examples of the practical, affordable pocket arms of the period.
