Springfield Armory P9 World Cup IPSC/USPSA open class pistol. 9x21 caliber. Original scope mount with a Tasco PDP3 modified by Dr. Dot. Includes accessories shown. Also has a bare 40 S&W slide with a new Barsto barrel.
This pistol was ordered in 1991 from the Springfield custom shop. They came with a 1" at 50yds guarantee. This one was sent back to Springfield custom shop in the mid to late 90's for a new barrel and a 3 port comp. It was test fired by Springfield and has been in a safe ever since.
"The Springfield P9 Open Pistol in 9x21mm was a specialized competition firearm produced around 1989-1992, based on the Italian Tanfoglio/CZ-75 design. These guns were designed to shoot 9x21mm ammunition to achieve major power factor, often featuring a compensator, frame-mounted red dot scope, and extended magazines, particularly for IPSC competition.
