Curio and Relics License OK. This is a Savage 1899 Lever action rifle for sale chambered in 303 Savage. The barrel length is 26 inches long and this was manufactured in 1912. The bore is in great shape. The finish on the barrel metal is mostly there with some minor wear. The metal on the receiver is mostly covered, but there are some minor areas of pitting. The metal on the lever is in very good shape with minor wear. The Stock and forend are in great structural condition with normal handling wear. There are no cracks or splits. The butt plate is a replacement White Line and needs to be replaced. There is a magazine counter and functionally this rifle works very well.
