The Remington Model 660 is a bolt-action rifle manufactured by Remington Arms from 1968 to 1971. The rifle was intended as a replacement for the Model 600.  It is a compact, lightweight bolt-action rifle designed as a "guide gun".  It improved on the Model 600 by replacing the vented rib with a 20" barrel, resulting in a more traditional look. It is highly regarded for its portability, accuracy, and quick handling. Key Features Design and Handling:  Featuring a 20" barrel, the 660 is balanced, compact, and ideal for thick brush or truck-mounted use.
