This is a nice Colt 1911A1 Post-WWII Late 1940’s, early 50’s Slide in good to very good condition with a good deal of the original finish, light fading on the high spots and contact surface areas. Rear sight is damaged from impacts. The right side of the slide shows "COLT’S PT. F. A. MFG CO. CONN. U.S.A." without the patent dates below and the left has the has the Italicized COLT with Government *Model* and Automatic Caliber .45 Rampant Colt. Has firing pin and retainer.
