Description:
This is a box, 20 original rounds, of .30-40 Krag (.30 Government Model of 1898) blank ammunition manufactured by the Frankford Arsenal. Marked "20 CALIBER .30 / BLANK CARTRIDGES / For MODEL 1898 RIFLE". The box is in very fine condition with the pull cord having torn the front label with the back fully intact and the top corners separated. The top is dated April 27, 1905 "Pkd. By C E Rhoads" and "Manufactured from Fired Cases". A now scarce box of USGI Krag Blanks.
