Serial numbers are present and matching on the frame, trigger guard, and grip, with no serial number observed on the cylinder, which is not uncommon on early Colt SAA revolvers. The revolver exhibits the correct four-click action, confirming traditional SAA lockwork. An early production black-powder-era Colt with strong historical and collector significance.
