Looking for a classic piece of American firearms history? If you're looking for an exceptional addition to your Harrington & Richardson revolver collection, then this rare H&R .32S&W “Young America” Double Action 1st Model 2nd variation revolver might just be what you're looking for. Produced from 1888 1897. Low serial number 240, indicates it was probably produced in 1888. This is a rare 1st model, 2nd variation Young America Revolver
Despite its age, this revolver is in very good mechanical condition and has been well-maintained over the years. It's a true collector's item that's also functional in very good condition with minor wear and tear consistent with age. A really nice revolver for a firearms collector, a history buff, or just looking for a unique piece to add to your gun collection

Condition: 2” octagon barrel with a lightly frosted bore, some light pinprick pitting consistent with black powder use, and still showing nice rifling. The metal surfaces are very good and still retain much of the original nickel. All the correct parts are serialized to the frame. The original black checkered floral design hard rubber grips rate about excellent. Revolver has good timing and lock-up with a little cylinder play. Mechanically works very well in single and double action.
This is a very nice rare example of a seldom seen early 1st model 2nd variation revolver.
