"Serial No. AL1037, manufactured in 1954 at the Izhevsk Arsenal, chambered in 7.62×54R with a 20.5"" round barrel. The bore is bright and shiny with strong rifling. Serial numbers have been arsenal matched using electric pencil, consistent with postwar Soviet refurbishment practices. The stock remains in very good condition, showing only light handling and storage marks. Overall presentation is clean and honest for a postwar Soviet carbine. Action is tight and functions correctly.
