"Serial number 6055. Made in 1897. 7.63 Mauser caliber with a 5.5" barrel. The conehammer variation with the “cone" profile on the side of the hammer is the earliest variation to these iconic pistols. This gun is non matching with a later barrel and slide which is numbered 22055. This gun has been refinished, but is nicely done and looks similar to a 1930s commercial type finish.
