The Tokarev TAR 12P is a semi automatic 12 gauge shotgun designed in a tactical style platform that combines AR style controls with a detachable magazine feeding system. Manufactured by Tokarev USA and imported from Turkey, the TAR 12P is built for recreational shooting, range use, and defensive applications. The shotgun features a gas operated semi automatic system and accepts detachable box magazines rather than a traditional tubular magazine. It includes a full length Picatinny top rail for optics, flip up style iron sights, and additional rail sections on the handguard for mounting accessories such as lights or foregrips. The adjustable stock allows shooters to change length of pull for comfort and better control. The TAR 12P typically uses detachable magazines holding 5 rounds of 12 gauge shells depending on the magazine configuration. The tactical layout and magazine fed design make it a modern alternative to traditional pump or tube fed semi automatic shotguns.
