Description:
24 inch round barrel. Modified blade front sight with short tang sporting rear. Full length tube magazine. Plain walnut forearm with matching straight grip buttstock fit with crescent rifle trapdoor buttplate. Metal surfaces are mostly clean and smooth showing about 70% original finish with typical handling marks and thinning areas starting to turn brown. Very good bore is fairly bright with decent rifling and shows a ring about 5” from the muzzle. Lever and hammer show much of the case coloring. Stocks are solid and full fitting with typical wear and handling marks. Manufactured in 1882.
