Description:
These older L579 Carbines in .308 are getting harder to come by. I have fired less than a box of rounds through it and it functioned without a problem. I only fired it at 50 yards and it was shooting cloverleaf groups. The photos were difficult to get clear due to the bright finish on the stock, which causes a lot of glare. There are some minor blemishes in the stock, but no deep scratches or gouges in the wood. The bore is excellent. I've not hunted with it. The rings mount right to the integral dovetails on the receiver and are of a low profile design. The scope is a vintage Bushnell Banner which, to my surprise, is of very good quality. It's size is also perfect for this short carbine.
This carbine is really in excellent condition given its age. Payment will be in the form of a USPS Money Order or Certified Teller's Check (may take a couple of days to clear my bank). I will ship from my Dealer's FFL to the FFL Dealer of your choice. Shipping is included in the price.
