Offered for sale is an original Winchester Model 1894 Takedown rifle chambered in .38-55 Winchester. Serial number 612134, dating manufacture to approximately 1911–1912.
The Model 1894 is one of the most iconic American sporting rifles ever produced, and the factory takedown configuration adds significant collector appeal. Early .38-55 chambering examples are increasingly difficult to find, especially in honest, unaltered condition.
