Offered here is a proper matched pair of English SxS shotguns by Charles Hellis & Sons, London, presented together in their original fitted leather motor case. This is a true matched pair, not a later assembled set, built as working sporting guns for the field.
Charles Hellis & Sons were respected London practical gunmakers, known for producing well balanced, durable sporting guns for shooters who valued reliability and handling over excess ornamentation. This pair reflects that tradition perfectly elegant, honest, and meant to be used.
