Description:
Sharps New Model 1863 Conversion to cartridge 50-70 cal Exc bore, Mech Exc tight action, Wood near Exc with tight fit to metal. Has a name tom carved on the right side of stock.  Has a 22” Rd barrel with original sights and has the address and new model 1863 markings also has 6 groove rifling.  This is interesting how this carbine has the 50-70 chamber work done to it and they used a percussion barrel explaining why it still has the address and new model 1863 markings as they where  removed during the conversion process. Good gun for a collector for its oddity. The receiver has the sharps patent marking on the left side and the right side plate markings are excellent. Serial#C21220 and has the saddle ring and bar on the left side. Metal overall has no pitting and has a blue brown patina finish.

Price: $2,295.00
