This is a traditional bolt-action hunting rifle with a finely checkered walnut stock and a blued barrel — a solid, reliable sporting rifle that wears its history nicely. The action is smooth, and the rifle is fully serviceable; overall condition rates between Good and Very Good, with moderate wear and handling marks on the wood (see photos). Metal finish shows normal use-related handling and light wear consistent with a well-kept hunting rifle of its age. .270 Winchester
