Description:
This is a Civil War period Military Cavalry Horse Bridle Bit. The Bit is marked "M.E" & "_C&WS". Excellent brass "US" medallions riveted in place on either side of the bit. Complete with low port, rings, and bottom cross bar. This example is in very good condition with light surface oxidation, great brass patina. Approx 9" long and 5 1/2" wide.;
