Smith & Wesson Model 629-1, chambered in powerful .44 Remington Magnum and fitted with a desirable 6-inch barrel. Built on Smith & Wesson's large N-frame and crafted from stainless steel, the 629-1 is the early production variation of the iconic Model 629, featuring the engineering updates that followed the original "no-dash" models. This revolver remains in very good overall condition, showing mild handling marks and light wear consistent with normal use, but no significant damage or abuse. The stainless finish presents well, retaining strong factory appearance with only minor surface marks. The bore is bright with strong rifling, and the chambers are clean. Lock-up is solid, timing is correct, and the action operates smoothly in both single and double action. .44 Magnum
